Trapani, the political movement "Futuro" founded by entrepreneur Valerio Antonini is born.

The new political movement "Futuro," founded by Roman entrepreneur Valerio Antonini, was presented today at the Baia dei Mulini, marking his official entry into Trapani politics.

Antonini is an entrepreneur in the global agricultural commodities trading sector, having founded Quanton Commodities Ltd, a British trading house, in 2020. In 2023, he acquired a 70% stake in Trapani Calcio, elevating the team from Serie D to Serie C. He also owns Trapani Shark Basket.

Alongside the president are retired General Geremia Guercia and former CGIL leader Antonella Granello. The program focuses on water network renovation, urban decor, and waste management, with the involvement of private individuals.

A hub of 15 experts will be responsible for securing European, national, and regional funding for the city's economic and social revitalization. The University will play a key role, with courses related to marine activities to attract students, while tourism and sports are identified as strategic levers for development.
